365Dad was founded in 2014 with a mission to one connect, equip and transform men with positive parenting practices to build better families through education, support, and services. 365Dad’s philosophy is grounded in theory of change. They believe and are committed to providing resources and supports that equip fathers to be actively engaged, then personal, academic, and social emotional outcomes will be positively impacted in the lives of their children.

365 Dad utilizes the Adult Adolescent Parenting Inventory to measure impact. Aligned with the five constructs outlined above, this assessment ensures that 365Dad provides relevant and research-based support to fathers.

Fathering Group (Nurturing Fathers’ Program)

The Nurturing Fathers’ Program is a father-focused, experiential learning model, which provides activities that purposefully stimulate thinking and feeling, in a supportive group atmosphere, thus providing the opportunity to change long-held parenting attitudes and behaviors. The goal of the program is to increase the proportion of children and teens growing up with involved, responsible and nurturing fathers.

Program participants are encouraged to understand that they can choose to reshape and relearn fathering, to let go of old fathering practices that do not bring desired results and to adopt new nurturing ones that achieve their intended goals. Each 2 1/2-hour weekly session addresses specified outcomes that build over the 13-week duration of the program.

Boys 2 MEN-toring (Youth Mentoring/Coaching)

The Boys 2 Mentoring Program is a transformative 14-week initiative designed to educate and empower young men aged 13 to 18, guiding them on their journey to becoming strong leaders. Through a combination of interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, and hands-on activities, participants engage in personal development focused on building confidence, enhancing communication skills, and fostering a sense of responsibility. Each week, the program tackles essential life skills and leadership principles, encouraging young men to explore their potential and develop a positive mindset. With the support of dedicated mentors, boys in this program not only learn to navigate the challenges of adolescence but also cultivate the values of respect, integrity, and community involvement, setting the foundation for a successful future.

Young Announcers Program

The Young Announcers program is a 12-week program specifically designed to provide students with access to the world of radio broadcasting, a field where diverse voices are often lacking. By offering hands-on experience in a live radio station, we empower these students with valuable skills and confidence, enabling them to express themselves and share their unique perspectives. Additionally, the opportunity to create and produce their own radio show encourages creativity, leadership, and communication, helping to bridge gaps and promote inclusivity in media.

The goal of our program for students is to empower them to become confident, articulate, and culturally aware communicators. By providing a platform for students to share their own stories and experiences, we aim to foster an understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives. We strive to create an environment where students feel valued and inspired to become advocates for positive change within their communities, ultimately developing their leadership and communication skills.

365Dad “Fatherhood counts” Radio Show (Self-Efficacy and Advocacy)

This interactive broadcasting media platform cultivates social justice and provides advocacy opportunities for Fathers to have a voice in their communities by learning broadcasting, journalism and self-efficacy.
